@Brynnium I realise he wasn't frailing in this video.

I was referring to the discolouration on the head above the fifth string, where the neck meets the rim.

It's a mark that can arise over time from the thumb hitting the fifth string while frailing. Ditto the mark just below the first string.

Nice picking, but your have the melody off a bit on one part. Listen to earl play it again and you'll catch the part I'm referring to. It's at the end of the measure. Keep it coming mate. :o)
