that poor mother she suffered in silence for years. she did what her children and husband considered the unimportant things. i am glad the daughter finally figured out what parent was actually worth admiring

touching movie...i enjoyed seeing how renee's character softened, and wrote down the speech the mom gave to her daughter as a parting gift about choosing to be happy with what you have and thus gaining peace. i didn't think this movie sought to glorify immorality, it was just a story about ordinary flawed people - the hard-hearted daughter and cheating husband - and the loyal wife that stood at the centre, never wavering...she sought to honor marriage and stay true to her husband and children :)

So this movie seeks to excuse cheating, suicide and murder... Hollywood is good at undermining uncritical people's morals.. The dad finds out the mom is his "one true thing" a little late. the reality is that cheaters destroy many people's lives, and statistically children whose parents cheat and split up grow up having no faith in fidelity and marriage themselves.. .

My gramp suffered a great deal too. He couldn't take this course. But he zipped his lips and refused to eat. For a man so weak, his lips sure did have enormous strength. None of us was able to force him to eat. He was on drips, while the medicines worked, the food intake nil, it became toxic. He died 2 days later.
