Regional train departs Bodø station (21-7-10).

Since my vacation was in Bodø, I had to film some trains there. Here you see the "Day train" from Bodø to Trondheim departing Bodø station and starts on it's 729 km (453 miles) journey on the Nordland line to Trondheim. The intire journey will take 9 hours and 55 minutes and it is the longest line on the Norwegian railway system. There are only two trains per day to Trondheim, one "Day train" and one "Night train". Also there are commuter trains to Fauske, Rognan and Mosjøen. Nothing of the Nordland line is electrified. Enjoy!

In one case, the train actually reversed back to the station because of a passenger who forgot to get off there.
