This is the Global Skateboarding Network.com's coverage of the X-treme Adventure Tent at the 2011 Maryland State Police's Polar Bear Plunge to benefit the Special Olympics of Maryland. The Charmcity Skatepark was asked to bring their team and a set up to the event. Pure Skateshop and Vu also contributed some obstacles to the course.
The clip stars Charmcity riders Zack Williams,Tyrone Henderson, Nick Lombard, Kevin Scott, Kyle Flegel, Heater and Charmcity team rider Myles Willard and Charmcity and Capital Skateboards riders Tyler Thomas and Matt "Gumbie" Therres. Also Vu's Joey Fitzpatrick and Brandon Wingate have tricks as well as Pure's Alex Johns and Jeff Pyles. Local radio personality Justin Schlegel from 98 rock was also featured in the video, skating. The clip was filmed and edited by Capital Skateboards rider and Charmcity Skatepark owner Jason Chapman. Charmcity was happy to help participate in an event which helped raise over 3 million dollars for the Special Olympics.
