The Last Airbender Official Cast HD

While the majority of the cast has not yet been revealed, a number of cast members have been confirmed from official sources:

Aang will be played by Texas Karate champion, Noah Ringer, who got the part in an open audition. This will be his first role.
Katara will be played by actress Nicola Peltz.
Sokka will be played by Twilight actor Jackson Rathbone.
Zuko will be played by Slumdog Millionaire actor, Dev Patel.[1]
Suki will be played by actress Jessica Jade Andres.
Zhao will be played by actor Aasif Mandvi.
Iroh will be played by actor Shaun Toub.
Ozai will be played by actor Cliff Curtis.
Yue will be played by actress Seychelle Gabriel.
Kanna (Gran Gran) will be played by actress Katharine Houghton.
"Earthbending Boy" (rumored to be Haru) will be played by actor Isaac Jin Solstein.
"Earthbending Father" (rumored to be Tyro) will be played by actor Keong Sim.
Appa will be a combination of animatronics and CG. The mechanical version stands 16 feet tall and 40 feet wide.
Momo will be included in the movie.
Avatar Roku will be played by Ben Cooke
"Old Man in Temple" (Rumored to be either Monk Gyatso or the Mechanist) will be played by Randall Duk Kim

Casting Rumors:

The actor and pop singer Jesse McCartney was in talks to play Zuko, but he was recast due to touring dates.
It was rumored that Jason Isaacs would reprise his role as Zhao, though it proved incorrect.
Isaac Jin Solstein, who was only announced by Paramount to be playing an "Earthbending Boy," is rumored to possibly be Haru. Isaac's father, Eric Solstein, described the young boys role as being "pretty high up on the cast list" and believes "most fans will be able to guess what character from the original cartoon that might represent." If Isaac is playing Haru, this would possibly mean "Earthbending Father" played by Keong Sim would be Tyro, Haru's father.

i was really surprised that they cut out characters like Suki, Haru (should have been older) and Roku. The first thing i thought was "how the heck are they going to make a sequal?" Sure, you can cut haru and Suki i suppose. But Roku? No way. He's a huge part in the war. The movie will never live up to the cartoon now. I think it was poorly writen and he should have stayed faithful to the color of the nations instead of sterotypying them. -_- oh well. Sorry for my silly little rant.

Yeah, I also regret Jesse's dropout. He would've been awesome as Zuko...but I'll still see it, because it's already looking pretty cool.

@Alumit14 I was too I literally wanted my money back after I saw it, it seemed like with the effects were too restricted like they didnt want it to be awesome like the series was the fire nation were pansy's in the movie what was up with the torches they needed to firebend? really? Aang looked like a he could have been way younger than he was supposed to be and his arrow was poorly drawn, They did an okay job with Zukko but the scar he was supposed to have was barley even their it was a fail.

I'm sorry, but the movie was terrible. The pronunciation was way off, the caracters didn't fit at all, and the effects weren't too great, but they could pass. I was disappointed when I saw the movie. I'm sorry.
