I went down one tooth from stock on the front sprocket, 14 tooth I think it is now. I have a 1990. Only JT makes them for the E model, in the USA at least. Really "wakes-up" these heavy bikes! Night and day difference since these bikes are geared insanely tall stock. Still highway rideable, but labors some holding 70+mph. (If you need a highway commuter, get a KLR650). Can clutch-up in second gear easy now, even when rolling at around 25-30mph or so.

it hasent much power to lift it in second gear easily but if you rev it hard anf let the clutch it will
as you can see i use a lot my body to ''help'' it lift
