have exact same as pwtkiss. Deck boards installed too close together by Brent Landels' brother's company! back of house rotting. Rains inside.

Don Morissette is the worst builder I've heard from multiple resources. When they messed up my friend's houses during construction,they just kicked my friends out of contract and returned him the earnest money weeks later. Too bad that my friend as the first-time home buyer and used DM's contract (It stinks, be aware!). And they did sell it with an extra $100k for that crippled house in 2005! What a shame! Keep away from this company or you have a good chance to regret later!

You got off lucky!! You should see a couple of the homes in Bend, Oregon. Skyliner Summit at Broken Top, the home actually seperated from the garage. 1 in Skyliner Summit, slid down the hill a little. They are using the name Stonebridge Homes NW, now, to hide their awful name and building practices. Brent Landels, President of operations in Central Oregon, has run the company into the ground there, # of employees left, 2. # of homes built in last 2 years, 3. Nice job, moron!!

I have a 6 yr old Don Morissette home with water dripping from the top of three kitchen windows. Also, the deck was bolted to the house without flashing and is leaking into the crawl space and has ruined several sheets of OSB. He also put an improper door for the patio that has caused leaks to go under hardwood floors and down the wall in the crawl space. Furthermore, there are two interior walls and ceiling joist bowed.Find another builder.
