Mac computers are hella expensive in Vietnam!..actually all electronics are more expensive than here.... always buy in the USA :)

If you have the money and can adapt nicely to new things, then... go for the Mac, or if you are used to Windows then stick to Windows. But remember with Macs you can boot Windows and Mac on startup you can choose, or run a virtual machine inside of Mac (Windows running in a Mac application window!) Soooo... Good Luck choosing :)

I want a mac but am worried that if I bought one I would be disappointed with it because I like using 3rd party software.

well i understand but if you waited like a week you could get the awesome new ones. also, i dont know what type of work you do, but you probly could have gotten a new macbook (because its better than the old macbook pro now) and save some money.

yeah it not big deal because it nothing change new until next 5 years right man? i mean i got iMac 24 inches display now they just going to make new iMac i aint getting mad cuz my mac works so great! for long time until need to get one

sorry... apple has never sold any product with lower price before the new version come out... I got my macbook pro at the original price...
