  • It took me 2 years to watch this video and i still wish i had never watched it it took the life right out of me to see Ciaran like that R.I.P. when i think about Ciaran, Luke, and Ronnie. I like to imagine them standing beside God playing a jig. Cause we all know The Dubliners was one of Gods Gifts to the world.

  • Ciaran Bourke, Another Legend in his Own right! RIP Ciaran. And Of Course RIP Ronnie! Men like these, Shall never again pass through Old Ireland!

  • @rockst4rFTW No... He had a brain aneurysm. Which when operated on led to further hemorrhaging. This left him paralysed down his left side.

  • still gets to the heart of things listening to ciaran would break ur heart

  • this makes me still goosebumps !

  • is ciran blind in this ? :L

  • R.I,P RONNIE AND LUKE, MUST RANK AMONG SOME OF OUR LANDS WORST DISASTERS THE DAY GOD TOOK EM AWAY, sure you was the greatest and i speak for Ireland when i write these words sure that we were blessed and now they have gone we mourn your loss and rejoice that god was good to us and gave us the greatest irish band yous could ever listen too.

  • Ciaran showed a similar emotion when he played a beautiful slow air about one of his ancestors on stage in Eindhoven, 1971. I spent an enjoyable afternoon with him in O'Donoghues in 1979 and asked him the name of the air. In spite of problems caused by his stroke he was obliging and hummed it for me. It was a version of "Lord of Mayo". When I mentioned that a friend had named his son Ciaran after him, he wept and asked for their address. He said of himself, "I was Ciaran Bourke". R.I.P. Ciaran!

  • I started crying when I saw Ciaran crying at the end of the video. Such a wonderful man.

  • How strong! Can't stop crying... from Belgrade

  • thanks for posting it ,,brilliant seeing ciaran, ronnie ,davy arthur,,even christie moore was 3 stone lighter ,,,thanks

  • I watched this show when it was on live and Ciaran's poem is still one of the most raw emotional things I have ever seen on television. It's arresting and just a gift to the World.

    RIP
