Actually Aztlan is not officially a real place. It is more of an idea that decends from the supposed origin of the Mexica (or Aztecs) But I agree MEChA is not a representation of the entire Mexican immigrant community. MEChA is a student activist group, and although the ideology of its constitution may seem extremest, it is not taken literally. Keep in mind that the constitution was written nearly 50 years ago, in a time of liberal ideologies.

to: thepolishpen: Great video/nice music. I was aware of all this before the Absolut video, but maybe this pandering video to Mexicans by Absolut will wake up apathetic Americans to the serious problem of ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION and how it's ruining the US! Check out: numbersusa(.)com, alipac(.)us

That would would be WAY TOO MUCH land for the mexicans to handle. They already cant do shit with the land they already have. More land just translates to more places a mexican can fart and shit on!

I would like to learn about this. How do I?

You can go on discussing who is right and who is wrong - but the reality of the situation is that ultimately, we are winning this struggle - we have ALREADY won.

Too bad, so sad. IT'S LAW!
"This ad certainly has nothing to do with immigration issue or anti-Mexican sentiment. It's based on a historical perspective on what Mexico once was."spokesman.
The AD was in Mexico, not the US. And it says how it an absolut world, Mexico would've not lost the land. What did you all want them to say? "In a perfect world you would've still lost, losers!" Boy that would've sold the product.
Its on history, the Mexican-American war, not some Aztlan crap.

For the sake of accuracy, the map used is the map of the Aztlan movement.
All this ad does is further distract from real issues: police state, dying dollar, eroding freedom, the nanny state.
If a North American Union is coming, that's why it seems the borders are disappearing. Because they are. The politicking against illegal immigration is just an opiate for those whom this ad angers.
