Quiet Sad watching this he really should have won it that year in 92 but he wasted his chances.He played great stuff to go 14-8 ahead had some good chances to extend his lead but didnt take them and ended up losing 10 in a row.It's unbelieveable for a player that brilliant to lose like that even to hendry.Jimmy just seemed to lose it mentally when he got within the finish line and again in 94 in the final frame.

tbh he was very unlucky not to win this year, its just hendry played immacculate snooker in the final session to win.

heard he knocked in 2 147's in the space of a week in exhibitions. he can def still play, just needs a bit of luck.
I always feel so sorry for him when you hear these old interviews. He deserved to win it.

I honestly think it's still possible, if you put the natural pessimism aside he just needs to alter something, maybe realise his practice form. I would point to darts, look at Taylor and even Priestly at 58! playing best form of their life, why should snooker be any different with age? both hand to eye sports

Poor Jimmy. He really believed he would be champion and rightly so.
