OK, now Dortmund's BVB is soccer champion, we had some pretty sunny days there, and Bin Laden is dead. Any more good news?
Yep. On May 1st, 2011, the trolley museum at Mooskamp station in Dortmund celebrated their 10th anniversary. Reason enough to take a trip there and record the travel on one of their old cars. In particular, on the 1957 Hansa-built GT4 no. 431, powered by a generator unit coupled to it's rear end. The ride begins at the museum, the first stop is near the former Ellinghauser Straße overpass. From there, the trains goes in reverse to Huckarde, passing along the remnants of the Hansa coking plant. then, after switsching to forward again, we head back for the museum. Concludingly, a number of loose pictures from that day.
