If anybody needs a little help with their long range accuracy they should pick up Magpul's The Art of the Precision Rifle. Haley freaking hits mile away targets using a 308!
Accuracy 1st Quick Wind Formula for .308
[Range x (Value of Wind/ 4mph)]
-Range 500 meters= .5 mils (every 4 mph)
-Wind Value 8 mph (8/4 =2)
->.5 x 2= 1.0 mil Hold
For Ranges 700 meters and beyond, add .1 to the range constant
-700 meters = .8
-800 meters = .9
-1000 meters = 1.1
