Haiti - Export Processing Zones: Georges' Hope

How can local action combined with international solidarity make a difference? Take a look at the example of the CODEVI export processing zone in Ouanaminthe, Haiti, where after years of exploitation, degrading treatment and anti-union practices, the workers making Levi jeans and Sara Lee t-shirts are currently on the verge of signing their first collective agreement. They hope their example will spread to others factories of Port au Prince and through to the Dominican Republic.
