  • @marellamofo especially when the fool can't provide any objective evidence ;)

  • @evelsteev

    Never debate with a fool.....:-D.

  • @marellamofo You CAN'T debate this issue, because you lack evidence, other than a personal experience, which can't proven to anyone else. You keep omitting this part. Repeat over and over to yourself: "Where's my objective evidence? Where's my objective evidence?" We're still waiting.

  • @evelsteev

I am not going to debate with you over this issue. I don't need to. You will never convince me with your skepticism. I have experienced the power of the "Surpeme self" as you call it enough times to know that the power of NMRK is real. Your mind is made up that chanting doesn't work. But don't worry, I will be chanting for you. The fact is that you are AWARE of Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING.

  • @marellamofo you never answered the question, but only replaced it with more rhetoric. If you can't chant, how will you see this "supreme self?"

  • @evelsteev

The fact that the mute/deaf person is exposed to the Law and that the very same law ( buddhahood) is with in the life of the mute/deaf person, it is possible for enlightment to be achieved. Once you are exposed to the Law whether you understand it or not, whether you believe it or not, buddhahood is possible. You are trying to grasp a concept that goes far beyond your limited ability to understand. Your questioning is proof that there is a connection. You will chant again one day.

  • @marellamofo so either it's by chanting or NOT by chanting. Make up your mind. If it's by chanting, how are mute/deaf people supposed to do it?

  • @evelsteev

The Law of NMRK is absolute. Even deaf mutes can and will attain buddhahood.

  • @marellamofo So people who can't talk (and therefore can't chant) can't see this "supreme self?"

    That's absurd.
