"Americano" is a song by Lady Gaga off Born This Way.
The song title was revealed through Vogue magazine. At The Monster Ball on May 3rd in Mexico, Gaga debuted an acoustic version of the song. She also stated that "It sounds like a pop record, but when I sing it, I see Edith Piaf in a spotlight with an old microphone." On May 5, 2011, Gaga performed the song with Fernando Garibay during her concert at Foro Sol. Lady Gaga revealed at the Born This Way press conference in Mexico City that there are two versions of the song.
SOME NOTES ON POPULAR COMMENTS
1. I speak English, not Spanish or whatever it is. I am sorry for any mistakes, but most parts are debatable over the internet, wether she says one thing or the other. Lyrics have been verified through Gagapedia and other sources and not to mention that I can't do anything about it right now XD
2. Yes, the song is sightly faster than the original, because there is no other way to 'hide' it from web sheriffs. Otherwise, such videos are immediately removed due to 'copyright infringement'. I did my best at this part.
