Actually, I've come to like FCPX. It has some great features and very fast.

Apple sucks now, at least for the Mac heads that once dominated its consumer base. These folks revolutionized the post production industry. Now a days their machines appeal to hipsters as vanities offering little to no expansion whatsoever. They dropped DVD authoring tools in the FCS suite, and even dropped their Xserve line too.

People need to get over this already, its been long enough. If your out of a job because anyone can edit on FCPX, then you were probably close to being out of a job anyway. Another point, Apple has introduced patches that have added every single thing they stupidly left out when FCPX was released. Quit your crying, stop your complaining, move on already.

While I have mixed emotions on Fina Cut Pro X, Motion is not really that bad unless you have a complex project in which case After Effects is the better choice. Motion does not have null objects, expressions and other tools that are sometimes needed. I do believe that Final Cut Pro X can be a true professional product but for now I love Premiere Pro and will continue to use it.

Those that like FCP X aren´t likely to be professional video editors. Its great for semi professionals though.

This video is now highly inaccurate on many statements. If you have been following the updates and APPLE's plan for this product, it was a smart choice. Since this video was released, many changes have occurred and the next release coming up is filled with great options and add-ons. APPLE clearly stated that they had a 10 year plan on this product and I can see where they are going with it in regards to new media. APPLE was really smart as they have aimed in the right direction
