Gajda sleeved in water-buffalo horn made by Risto Todoroski (sirulsko@gmail.com) in Sydney, Australia.
For sale. Slide-show at 1:45.
Excellent sound. High drone attachment gives the effect of 2 gajdi playing and creates beautiful harmonics. Goat skin bag is tanned (not salt cured) for a softer finish, and to last longer. Bag can also be tied with fur outward, or even with goat's head intact.
This chanter can be tuned to key of A or Bflat - this melody is played in Bflat.
MADE TO ORDER:
Macedonian (Prilepsko) gajdi in any key, typically G (sol), A, Bflat, C (do).
Bulgarian (dzhura / джура) gaidi in high D (re) or Eflat.
Old gaida shutarka or "kounoupi" that was widespread in Macedonia pre-1945 in high D (re) or Eflat. It has a different reed and scale to the dzhura gaida.
Please rate - comment - share. Youtube makes videos easier to find the more they are rated and discussed and this helps Dedo Risto sell his gaidi. He is one of very few makers in Australia. Much appreciated!
