@spellerlittlewing When the Europeans came to the New World they found a people who were sacrificing children and female virgins and not one had invented the wheel. Furthermore, the natives were making sacrifices to please the gods. So either their gods were not impressed by the shabby offerings and decided that the people were not fit for such a glorious land and had to be removed. Or, the gods were pleased by the offerings and gave them the glorious and ingenious peoples from Europe.

Medved is speaking for simpletons. Among all his other bits, his bit about highways versus airlines is preposterous. He drove on the highway in a private car. Now, how does his experience of being late in his car have anything whatsoever to do with government?
