Well said, Weezie. I manage people myself, and I've occasionally chewed a few out, but ONLY because they really needed it. I long ago found that working WITH the people who work for you is the ONLY way to go. If there's a problem, you discuss it, one on one, and in a friendly manner. Odds are it won't happen again. Do as this "manager" did, and you'll eventually have a tough time finding people to work for you.
