Finally after about three years on my Ninja 250 I was able to buy a new bike. Picked up this 2000 Kawasaki ZRX 1100 from Sulphur Springs, TX. Flew in and rode it home 492 miles! Here is a video of part of the ride - this bike is amazing, I think I'm in love!

  • Ruben!! Sweet ZRX!! i think they are really handsome. I like the triumph style lights on the front. That must be very very different than the ninja 250, i bet it feels a crap load more stable at high speed, not to mention it makes over twice the horspower i think. maybe three times!

  • Thanks! I really love it. It's a great upgrade and yes, 70-80 on this bike is very easy and relaxed. It's probably pushing close to 120-130hp (full exhaust, pods, and jetted), so it's actually more like 4x the power of the 250! This thing actually has more horsepower than my CAR!! Crazy huh?

  • I love how all 90's kawasakis sound so similar

  • I've seen you on the 250 forums, but I just came across this vid after searching for ZRX videos. Great review and nice bike! I think I may be headed in the same direction as you...I want the ZRX to be my bike after the 250 :)

  • Cool, thanks. :)

  • hey ruben,

    Congrats on your new bike!

    It looks great!

  • I might be, no, I am biased. ;-)

Great bike, underrated but cheap to have if you don't care about the 80's look.

    Luckily we don't, LOL.

Looking forward to see more ZRX vid's!

  • i've always liked those bikes, i remember sitting on one at the dealer back in 01 or 02.

im suprised you had the ninja as long as you did actually, i had done a few long trips on mine and i probably should have spocketed it because it used to burn oil like crazy at high rpms trying to keep up with traffic

  • Wow it's really cool! Great find.

  • Nice bike! I bet it's a bit faster than your 250 huh? :]
