peacock bass

peacock bass eating his last tank mate before being sold. he was very cool but starting to get an interest in eating anything that would fit in its mouth , strangely not an aggressive fish......just very hungry !

it was my female parrot cichlid, i felt very sorry for it. it was sharing the tank for 3 months with no problems until that incident. he was spat out and jag and the others finnished him off. in a tank with fish of that size , the minute a fish shows weakness thay all attack.
