Who says celebrities don't get special treatment? That's exactly what Christina Aguilera and husband got last night at Van Nuys' Babies 'R Us. Opting for some late night offspring supplies, the star couple's visit to the store prompting the management to close down the entire store to the public from 10 pm to 12 midnight! Wow! Try that one at home!

@Lookdownhereiam I agree it's not an ego thing. But any normal person could get attacked without warning, any normal person isn't always safe, sure celebs have a bigger risk, but normal people have been killed in stores while they shop. I think closing down a whole store and not allowing other's in is a tad much, i get the safety issue though with fans, paps aren't allowed in stores usually, other celebs have shopped without closing the store.

@sergemodee I do. I don't think it's an ego thing, I think it's a security issue. Think about it. If they didn't shut down the place they would get attacked or worse, killed by a psycho fan or paparazzi. It's happened. I know it seems a bit much but they probably wouldn't be safe otherwise.

What is really screwed up is that I'm not a celeb but I've spent THOUSANDS of dollars at babies r us and no one shut down the place just for me. I don't think celebs should be treated differently than anyone else.

Must say, her husband and her look like they really love each other. Love how he protects her. And the smart remark about her being a snob, your a snob to think she owes the papz anything. Yes, we want to look, but to get in her space is rude and to blind then with lights is low class.
