  • That's a great video!

And as far as all these crazy comments go, I think that one of the beautiful things about playing music is that the first rule is: Don't tell someone else how to play.

I know that there's "techniques" I've been to music school, but how do you think we got a technique? some guy came up with it!!!

I say whatever works for you...as long as your not doing something to hurt yourself(carpel tunnel or something) Let the music speak for itself-how does it sound, not how it looks.

  • @Thornyfy yeah and maybe if they wore shiny costumes and had a smoke machine it would be better too, give me a break. that focused look on their faces is not one of depression but rather one of the type of relaxed concentration it takes to play incredible music like this....

  • This girl is a fine banjo player ,wish I could play like that you are born with a talent such as that . only advice to Angelina is to acquire the rawness of Bronagh Graham ...Now theres a fine female banjo player.

  • Fine playing ...nice and bright and bouncy ...Knew this ladys great relations Pete and Kevin...the times they are a passing!

  • As far as I'm aware music is for the ears. And It sounds superb to my ears... So there should be no complaints unless your tone deaf.

  • The best of the best............cheers

  • Somebody makin coments is a pint shy, and bein born wid no fingers robs me of the enjoyment ov dem what;s ben blessed thats not to say I myself wid no fingers has any problem tappin me foot and histen a pint wid the stumps the war left behind. Safe Harbor Cap'n Rick

  • @madramaith I obviously wasnt thinkin of it for 2 years hahaha i was reading my comments so feck off

  • @richiem95 - Why yes richiem, I AM retarded! And you sir, are a psychopath - one of the hallmarks of a psychopath is the inability to let go of a perceived slight. TWO YEARS later you're still trolling here? Get a bloody life man. Oh and I recall challenging you to post video of your "superior" technique here for us all to fawn over, and surprise surprise, as Cilla Black would say, there's no such video forthcoming. Put up or shut up you charlatan.

  • @madramaith Just because its its trad doesnt mean you dont need technique... like are you retarded?

  • @Thornyfy

It's just the custom in Irish music for the players to have a neutral expression ... the music itself is intense and doesn't need any visual additions - you'll get used to it after a while and then when you see people grinning as they play, you'll notice the distraction
