  • Thanks so much for this - none of the knitting books made sense, but this does. Is this just for the US style of knitting or will it work for UK knitting too? That probably sounds like a stupid question, but I genuinely want to make sure I do this correctly.

  • @1SHAZ1 It will definitely work! I've taken to showing both methods in later videos, since I use both myself, and almost all methods work with both methods.

  • thank you a lot

  • The explanation was very clear & understandable. The video was quite nice - easy to see with the contrast yarn. No hands in the way- going at a slower pace was nice I had only wished for a close up to see the exact stitch. Thank you!

  • Thank you so very much! I've taught myself how to knit using books and lots of great youtube videos - including this one! I'm making my first sweater and I needed this to make the hood. You're a saver of my unfinished project!

  • thank you so much for this video! clear, concise and the only explanation of picking up stitches i have been able to understand. thank you!!!!

  • Thank you for a clear explanation of how to make a smooth neckline. I have been trying in vain to understand the digrams in my books. Thanks for taking the mystery out of it.
