  • @2centsgiver omg I totally understand what you're talking about. :)

  • @nebukuro No, it's him doing a solo show (or bits of several solo shows... not sure, because I'm still waiting for my copy that I ordered). Hoping there is some bonus footage from backstage, etc, but not sure. It's really just a concert video... Which is totally awesome! I'm anxiously checking my mail everyday! :)

  • I actually prefer Eddie's solo stuff than Pearl Jam.

  • @Grabash666 That's true!

  • @arsenalsuxxx you're a genious!

  • don't really get what this movie is supposed to be after seeing this trailer...like his own private pj20 (...evXX?), is there actually a storyline behind it? or is it just live performances by eddie? I mean, I'd be fine with that, I'd just like to sorta know what to expect!?

  • Just bought it. GREAT DVD

His performance of man of the hour is incredible

  • After yet another boozy 'I'm an idiot' weekend, was in desperate need of some EV therapy - so bought and watched this last night. Hard to be objective, because for fans who have loved him a long time, his voice, expressions, and face, they release what feels like hormones or serotonin into your bloodstream? Maybe the way a parent's beloved face does to a child? So in any case I adored every second of this film, and could almost feel the hair on his face under my fingertips. A must for EV fans.

  • @Grabash666 - hehe, cant blame a man for being happy : - )) - theres enough shit around to be sad about.

  • @horrorflesh

Sure, i also like more of this angry, young pearl jam, bunch of fucked up kids back in the day istead of elder rock icons nowadays, im also not so happy about backspacer, its cool but miss their anger and melancholy in it. But listen ed´s into the wild, its just a great record ! And yes, your right eddie is now more of this happy environmentalist guy, but thats the way it goes when you got bunch of kids , fulfilled life, loving wife and turn 50 in few years. You just a happy man ^^

  • @Grabash666 - well i see your point. Just dont think that the ukulele stuff is a great way to start off....i liked some of the PJ albums, but somehow they got to pretty. And i think theres too much prettiness around Eddie these days. Know its a bit lame, but i like my rollers to be fucked or angry or just have like a human expression towards the world.. eddies like: D'oh !

  • @horrorflesh

Yeah sure, Lemmy is the fucking man, unique and nr 1. but i dont see eddie vedder as a " confused hermit lost inside a dream of being a rockstar. " cause he dont need this shit and never really wanted to be so overhyped as he is, but its not his guilt that millions of people see him as a rock icon and rock god. And what should he do or be ?! sit depress in the corner and blame music industry the wholen time or hate himself for no reason to be as "grunge" as back in the day ?

  • @Grabash666 - Fair enough, but at least agree with me that hes not excactly a Lemmy Kilmister - actually i see him more like a weird confused hermit lost inside a dream of being a rockstar. Musical talents kinda swapped for an almost religious self promoting appearence.

  • @horrorflesh

Well i wanna see you in your mid/late 40s. What do you expect from this guy? he is not 25 anymore, people change with age, and im glad eddie vedder changed this way. Im glad he is not another Chris Cornell who sells out just to show the world how trendy he can be or another Mr. Scott "look at me, im still cool rockstar" Weiland with his sad ass fancy clothes and faggot attitude ! Mr. Vedder, you are a fucking man !

  • @arsenalsuxxx I agree, I just saw the solo tour and he did 2 encores and played for over 2 hours. His voice was amazing. He puts 100% into his shows and always gives you your money's worth.

  • @veghead9 - the truth is hard to handle dude.......your only hope is that he next time adds a pan flute, and covers smoke on the water.

  • who she is in the second 0:23?

  • Eddie has become The Dude from Big Lebowski. All he does seem lamer and lamer. Now hes giving hands to his fans and being all joyfull running all around the dressing rooms like a girlie person. And that ukulele. They were a good band at the beginning. Now look at him.

  • Thumbs UP who thinks that Dave Abbruzzese is the best drummer for Pearl Jam, and wants him back into PJ!!

Let's ensure that this message could be seen by any members of PJ or their friends!!!

  • @jerinhom Ye it kinda does. maybe he has another version of it cos it sounds just a bit off. Thanks anyway man! :)

  • @tomogog IT seems to me that it's the intro to Sometimes, isn't it??

  • i want the dvd so bad!!
