First off, no matter what branch of the military, they are all serving their country proudly. My friend is USCG and he's stationed in the middle east protecting ports from terrorist attacks, so I'd take that as going to war and defending our freedom.

2. Come in looking like a fishing trawler, go out knowing they met a destroyer.
3. Spell out "R.I.P." with the machine gun when giving a shot across the bow.
4. Tell 'em: "You're facing experts at shooting accurately from a moving deck onto another moving deck."

can someone tell me what kind of questions are on the ASVAB ?? i am a lifeguard thinking about the coast guards , i need some insight on anything really ! any stories would be nice

you'll be fine. i got a 76..i'm guessing we scored differently on different subjects, but overall you'll be good. if you talk to your recruiter you'll be able to pick where you are stationed and what you wanna do.
