FSB: Freelancers explore opportunities abroad

Freelancer and contractors in the UK should consider selling their services or products overseas.

That's the advice of Stephen Alambritis from the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).

He believes advances in technology means small firms are better equipped to connect with customers in different countries.

Mr Alambritis says "Exporting would be a good way for a business to grow as other markets may recover quicker than the UK".
