The IRA claimed it was formed to protect catholics in Northern Ireland from British security forces and Loyalist paramilitaries. The reality is they killed more catholics in Ulster than all the other participants in 'The Troubles' combined.
Bernard Lavery - a well respected pensioner - had just dropped a protestant friend off at his home in Benburb and was driving away when a massive IRA bomb was detonated as his car passed.
He - and his 14 year old granddaughter Emma Donnelly - were killed instantly as their car was blown up into the air. Two more innocent catholics murdered by the Irish Republican Army in their quest for power and money.
Ulster is British - No Surrender.
