Hi Phil! I think they changed the material on these...I bought one last week from an UK company (rebranded Aqwa Protank) and it looked like SS. I checked the groves on the bottom and they don't have that brass colour to them. I then went to their site and it says it is full stainless steel body and mouthpiece together with pyrex glass.Works great by the way (with one less wick of course);) Anyway just to let you know and see if you had heard of this change. Keep up the good work!

I wasn't slamming him, I look to these reviewers because They get these products for Free from Most of the companies and/or vendors, so their reviews Should be accurate and allow for different situations, not 10 minutes on the camera then put away for another quick sell gizmo that doesn't work the way it did for them when they reviewed it, real time testing...remember HE gets Payed to do these, we Pay to get the item....Get your moneys worth..

I could not get this tank to stop burning on my eVic, I did what you suggested with removing the wick. Freaking working wonders now.

Just be careful if you put it in your pants pocket...

One issue I noticed is, the protank is epoxied at the bottom (possibly the top, too). If you get it hot, it can break that epoxy loose... when you put it in your pocket, you can offset the glass and top part from the base. I was lucky enough to not have it too bad, but a friend's became a leaker. I don't think it's technically a design flaw, but if something to be aware of.

He is using a ProVari mod. It's avalable in mini version and uses 18350 battery. Normal version takes in 18490/18500 battery and with extended end cap 18650 battery. I don't have ProVari so someone please correct me if I gave wrong information.
