Truck Driver Song That I Wrote For All The Truckers

Song is called Superman and it was taken from a experience I had coming home from a flour delivery. This is dedicated to all the men and women doing this tough job. I've been driving for 19 years. Be safe on the road girls and guys.

Hi Lisa,

This is really a great song. I've been a trucker/singer/songwriter since 1977. Got off the road in 2004 to get a college degree. Going back out in August to grant a wish through the national charity, Twilight Wish Foundation, to an 81 year old lady who always wanted to ride in a cross country truck. Would love to connect with other lady truckers to celebrate our lives on the road and to share some songs and stories.

Thankyou for such a remarkable song dedicated to us truckers. I've been driving the big rigs for 18 yrs now. I was born & raised in the "old school" trucking profession & I wouldn't have it any other way. And as far as I'm concerned, "old school" is the only way to go. i start 30 yrs. driving an 18 wheeler this dec. started in dec. 1997, been married 5 times, and still love the open road, hope i can do it for another 15 to 20 yrs. thanks and god bless
