Vote for Amaad Rivera this Tuesday!

Amaad Rivera is running in a hotly contested race for an at-large city council seat in Springfield, MA. Amaad is a caring, accessible candidate who has stepped up and accomplished big things in less than a year on the council. If you are from Springfield please get out and vote for him on Tuesday. If you are upset with criminal big banks wrecking our economy, or unscrupulous developers trying to ram an incinerator down our throats in East Springfield you cannot afford to lose councilor Rivera. He has sponsored and passed a nationally recognized anti-foreclosure ordinance which not only helps homeowners stay in their homes after being swindled by Wall St banks but also gets the Springfield taxpayer off the hook for paying for upkeep of the banks abandoned boarded up houses. He was also instrumental in revoking the permit for the "Biomass" incineration plant which was rubber stamped with little scrutiny during the previous city council term. Three of those rubber stampers are running against Amaad now! Remember, you don't have to use all 5 of your votes!
