I saw this in a cinema in Stratford and a group of older West Indian men came in to see the film. They were so excited and reactive whilst watching the film. One of the best cinema experiences ever. Really enjoyed the film.

@progfr0g agree with everything you say except the bit about the Windies not being idolised in Australia. I actually feel privileged to have been a kid during that era of cricket. It was brilliant. There has never been an era since or even before that has had so many characters. I don't have much, if any, interest in cricket anymore but when I cast my mind back to those days I can feel my hair stand on end. It was fierce and hard. Lillee, Thommo, Bob Willis, Holding, Roberts etc etc

They were an incredible team. I remember watching them here in NZ in the 80s and being so disappointed when Richards got out for only 20-odd.
Oh, and - Thommo in his prime looks absolutely terrifying (0.18).

Oz idolised the windies too. They were legends.

@TheloniusBostik God they were real legends than is why the present generation who loves the game is raised listeninf their folklores and legends. Bloody aussies can never match them. Hail!! to the cricket and Hail!! the west indies. Long Live The Legends

I just hope they have some rare footage - not the same old,,,,,same old
It's a real shame what's happened to Windies cricket in the past decade or so... that team was idolised by lovers of cricket worldwide [except Oz of course]. Legends. There was a great billboard done in England for Nike, featuring a nearly silhouetted photo of Viv doing up his boots. The words on it were.'Also available to mortals'. Pure genius. Can't wait to seeing this.
