  • it's probably limited (or was in 1987) to how much "real" concentration camp scenes you could show. i think it's the story that is meant to control the film

  • Love Rutger Hauer. Beste acteur van Nederland :). Great movie too.

  • i watched this in one of my classes at school, cant remember what class

  • This movie wasnt that good. My teacher said its really hard. Its not at all. Its looks fake. I have seen many more movies and mini series much more sadder and hard on the soul. Such as the Pacific. I have great sorrow for the people that have died in the Holocaust. But they could have done a better job. Boy in the Striped Pajamas was much much better. In the movie, it looked like they gave the prisoners too much freedom.

  • Good British Film

  • I saw it a couple of days ago..when I was in Poland, in Birkenau with school...

  • i had to watch this in R.e at school and it made me phsically shake in my seat. If you liked this; watch - Defiance - Schindlers List

Had to watch them to movies in R.e too. Both scary but really eye-opening (Y)

  • Hmm, walidbako seems like a bit of a cunt. I don't see how a blatantly racist and untrue statement that he just made up then outweighs the mass genocide of millions of Jews during WWII?

Also, is this movie good? I heard it was, plus I'm a fan of Rutger Hauer and studied the Sobibor death camp in History, so it seems like my cup of tea.

  • Ya, ok..now you go and take your anti-depressant pills. Ya?
