@MrEatonbeaver god damn it! As much as I try/tried to stay on top of it, more damning information of the bush scandal's pile on. There was a revealing witness, I think from the FBI that corroborated every detail of Clarke's facts, as well as others name in the 60 minutes story. She was a middle-aged long haired blond as I recall. I recall a crony (among the many of the Keane led political document that is the report) and, given this, I'll research him. Thanks for the info.

@MrEatonbeaver As the Bush presidency started, counterterrorism czar Richard Clarke was demoted by Condi's buddy Philip Zelikow, who was later appointed Executive Director of the 9/11 Commission and appeared as a witness before his own commission!

In the report, Zelikow did his best to tone Clarke's accusations down, and to balance them with statements from Condi, no matter how unbelieveable. Afterwards, Condi rewarded Zelikow with a plum job as advisor to the Secretary of State.
