  • i remember that coat well, Ian wore it all the time :))

  • This is fantastic. This is my actual cousin. Didn't think others have heard of them.

  • Great 80's song, i remember buying the 12in. single in San Francisco in 1987. The 80'S New wave scene ended way to soon imo....

  • This should have been a huge hit, as it is hard to see why such a catchy and powerful song did not garner much more attention. There are many puzzling things in life and pop, but this is sadly one that got away. I remember hearing it played a lot on a local radio station, and an interview with the singer, so it was obviously promoted, but to no avail. The song still sounds gloriously fresh twenty three years after its release in 1987. A real gem of a song and a great shame it never charted.

  • Didn't know there was a video for this song it's one of my favourites of h20. From what I remember original members Ian Donanldson(singer) and Ross Alcock(keyboards) reformed with 3 different members from other glasgow bands at the time and released this and a few other songs which didn't get much success. I remember meeting them in the old venue on sauchiehall street in glasgow while they were rehearsing and got an autographed copy of blue diamond(12" version) from ian. I've still got it.

  • good song, but `Dream To Sleep` was class

  • top class..anybody got the video of dream to sleep??they dont make em like this anymore..

  • I miss the days when you could play music under an abandoned sub-level building/parking station and get no hassle. Now 1 call and you have to be quiet or leave because you might be a cover for a drug trade ;). Great song.

  • great to see this, really liked Ian, nice guy.thanks for posting :o)

  • I'm confused, hadn't H2O split by 1987? Or is this an Ian Donaldson solo production?

I saw H2O play at Aberdeen students union, in 1982 I think. There was only about 30 people there, but they were still good.

    Anyway, thanks for posting this.
