I'd never buy anything like this again. Through 480 days online and less than 900 cartridge mounts the drive has broken (cartridge stuck, and the library can't identify the drive). HP warranty for such devices annoys: no more than 1 year in any case. Price for new LTO4 1760 SAS drive is about 3500$. It's more cost-effective to use HDD-based storages.

Got an old LTO2 library still going strong here, no faults at all, runs every day, all year round, you must have been very unlucky :/
HP provides 2 year warranty as required by local law here, and another year if you pay a very small fee at purchase.
