What nationality is Zimmerman? :)

@schaefer1697 yes, surely he did (from the bottom of his heart i believe); when i was in high school (in china, think about it, even there), the music course we had presented bernstein as someone comparable to karajan in interpreting beethoven, certainly there are far more (even better in some way) conductors and the lessons were by no means higher than entry level, but that did make the point.

@stickitupyapipe I beg to differ with your assessment of Bernstein. I have actually watched him play this very concerto. He was a superb pianist and I was blown away. As to whether he might have been able to create this work well, no, he couldn't. But if you've never heard his own creations, such as "Candide" or "West Side Story", you owe it to yourself to do so. There was much more to this man than the simple ability to move his arms in a soup-stirring manner. Check it out; u'll change ur mind.

I bet, if you'd go to court and tell them you killed your neighbour because he was mowing his lawn while you were listening to this, they'd fine his family for wasting the Court's time.

De lo mejor que he oido jamás. Increible!!!

@stickitupyapipe After reading your comment, I wholly agree with your view.

Bernstein + Zimerman = the most beautiful music !
Look at Bernstein @ 7:16... what a happy man! He really loved the music.
