It looks like when using overdrive on this level, if your main base gets overridden (during air attacks), the base energy goes down slightly. Even though it recovers on the next attack, this may have been causing my "good" rating even when I killed all enemies,saved both gates and had 100/100 base integrity. I e-mailed miniclip support and hopefully they will fix the problem. I finished without using over drive and finally got the perfect. Very frustrating, as I finished level about 10 times.

@rsaran1288 Yep same happened to me on my first try. I used the over ride but I also let around 20 air stuff past and it gave me a good badge. Not sure if it was the over ride or not. Gratz on completing it though :D

I finished this level, but only with "good" rating. I guess I need to kill all enemies, but those air with shields (levels 25, 26) are buggers. I bought wall factory and air strike facility first, but looks like I'll need to alter that strategy. Thanks for posting!

that was an amazingly practical strategy, was thinking it would be extremely intricate and use overdrive a lot. Instead u had some of the simplest but most effective strategies I've seen yet =]

If you had upgraded your AA laser at any time, you would have killed the flying enemies in the later stages, my only complaint. Bravo.

That was insane, no need to use shield stations, missile towers or cannons. I could never have figured it this way.

Please be aware, that the beginning is a matter of luck. The 14th attack gets the gate almost down, so I checked it out of curiosity: Sometimes it gets down, sometimes it remains with half the energy. I think it's depending on the skill that gives a 10% chance to every tower to do double damage on a shot.

For those that wonder if the overdrive could ruin a perfect score: This also happens on earlier missions, if the base attacks a plane on overdrive, its damaged.
