Hey in the vid you said the MacBook had a Atheros WiFi chip? My Toshiba has one of those too, try running the atheros utility under wine, maybe it might just work :/

It is neither google nor a different OS.

gOS is an opportunisitic attempt to cash in on the "google OS" hype. It is only a repackaging of Ubuntu distro on the Enlightenment window manager. Summed up, IT IS A THEME, A SKIN, A CONFIGURATION OF DEBIAN PACKAGES WITH CUSTOM ART, disguising as a OS.. It would have been better to call it Geez, that gOS.

Go check out puppy linux, I've had better experience with it, if you need a small and tight OS.

Ubuntu otherwise..

gOS works on x86 hardware, and since Apple switched to Intel CPU's, a mac nowadays is nothing more than just an ordinary pc, making it easy to install almost all the os you've got avaliable for pc's :)

I think you should just go back to MacOSX on your MacBook.
