This Is England

Over the course of the summer holiday Shaun befriends a group of local skinheads. With his pent-up rage and frustration, Shaun finds exactly what he needs in the gang—mischief, mayhem and brotherhood. He also meets the volatile and boorish Combo. Adopting Shaun as his protégé, Combo leads the gang down a hate spewing path that culminates in an irreversible act of violence.

@DaleWF10 Now I feel like an idiot, I just spamed the comment box. Hey you know what? How about I make it up to you. You win this internet argument. I've been in a lot of internet arguments in my life and I can afford to lose this one. This is obviously an important one for you. We all know life began in Ye Olde Manchester in the year 20000 B.C.. Adam and Eve are white names, god wouldn't make man black. The first man was obviously a good-ol's Scouse. Everyone in Africa speaks English.

@DaleWF10 I don't get what your trying to prove man. Arabic is probably more widespread in Africa then English, or Dutch, or French. I do accept the fact politically it's controlled by Europeans, but not very many European people live in Africa (other than in South Africa). I do hope you listen to a bit of what I am saying. The only citations I can give you are personal experiences, my parents, the internet, and television. I've only been to Addis Abeba, and Hargeysa (3 months).

@DaleWF10 Are you trying to prove African culture has been taken away or something by telling me our languages are dead? Africa still retains much of it's culture. I can't really claim I speak for a continent but you really are just brushing Africa with a wide brush. It's a continent, it is filled with human beings who speak in a bunch of different ways. They have cities and countrysides, and it's not filled with babies and refugee camps. I'm sorry but your facts are off.

@DaleWF10 Ethiopia and Somalia have European languages as official languages, that doesn't mean that a chunk of it's population speaks anywhere other than work. They also speak Arabic, and Mandarin (along with other Asiatic languages) at work. Large communities in heavily European controlled African cities speak European languages as first languages (Cape Town, Johannesburg, Lagos and the like). Africa is the world's second most populated continent (second to Asia).

@Mythodiir I said most of the African continent not just fucking Somalia and Ethopia fool. 16 countries in Africa have English as an official language. French is an Official language in 27 African countries and 23 million people in Nambia and South Africa have Dutch as primary language.

@DaleWF10 I've been to Ethiopia and Somalia, and people speak European languages for trade. You're thinking of Southern, and parts of West Africa where they speak European languages as first languages. Also just because they aren't black it doesn't mean they don't have their roots in Africa. Everyone has roots in Africa, and like I said most human attributes developed there. Language was developed in that same region and flooded outwards. Well that's all I'll be saying.
