It is more to it then cutting taxes. I made a video on what I feel about the whole thing I'm from Pa. and all our industries are about gone, two more will go this year, Oh they brought in a temporary military project for us to do and of coarse the two warehouse to bring in all the over seas imports to distribute too all the stores but no industries are going to be left even in our near by counties.

along with any tax cuts there has to be budget cuts, and washington has shown they're unwilling to do that.

Govt doesn't create jobs, the free market does.
Kick the govt out of the free market.

What is that Janine-woman saying? A FIFTY percent income tax reduction? Has she completely lost her wits?!?!?!?
How's about these idiots come to the realisation that economics is a bit more complicated than brainless one-liners?

Lower taxes for employers has been proven to increase government revenue, far more than when the government takes that money from them directly through corporate taxes. the government would have MORE money to fund bankrupt programs like SS and Medicare if they would just let the capitalist system distribute that money naturally. Instead of going straight from the rich to the government, money filters down through each class getting taxed a little each step.

Any permanent reduction in either income tax rates for business income or payroll taxes would no doubt be a big boost towards private sector hiring. I think that is the only stimulus that should have been considered. Big government spending programs waste way too much money and are not done in a way that gives a permanent boost to the economy.

Where does she get the idea that employees will have "50% more" in their pockets? She does realize the payroll tax is actually a very small percentage, right?

What bank takeovers? I haven't heard of a single bank being "taken over" by gov't, have you? Yes, we bailed them out and whatnot, but they're still largely private. Does your checkbook say "gov't-owned" on it? Mine doesn't. And only GM was taken over. Ford and Chrysler are still private. ;)
It's not exactly 'welfare' healthcare, either. Despite popular belief, the public option WILL require consumers who use it to pay premiums.

Cutting taxes is good, but I don't know if a payroll tax cut is the right one. I think there are much more efficient taxes to cut, like corporate income tax, esp. since gov't doesn't get much revenue from that. Doesn't the payroll tax cover things like SS and Medicare? if we cut it, that's even LESS money than we already how now for it. Cutting spending is good, but having even LESS revenue for such expensive programs is probably not such a good idea. Most people are for em too.

Obama's cabinet and staff has the least amount of private sector experience of any president in history. They just won't listen. They don't hear us. Maybe they'll hear us if we do our talking at the ballot box.
