There was at least a ten-year gap where I stopped being a frequent attendee at synagogue. When I found a new one, I had discovered that the songs the congregation would sing resembled songs I used to sing at a "youth" service. I am so pleased that people discovered a simple way to add value to the experience of taking time out of each week to celebrate life as a community.
Truly an Eyshet Chayil! The Holy, Blessed be He, Blessed her with a wonderful voice, and a gifting for modern music for those of us in the 20th, and 21st centuries! Before I came to Yeshua, I was conservadox (I was a Chabadnik, however I became egaliterian and somewhat conservative, but still mostly Orthodox, thus I davened became a member of a Conservative shul), at womens legue Shabbat, Debbies pieces were always used, at Seudah Shlishit,we always used her havdallah melody. She's truly gifted!
