Well my parents are gonna get me this set for christmas, does it look and sound fresh on high def? does it include both special edition and theatrical cuts? i want to know. I heard there is a few CGI polishing but is it done well? i hope it's not like Star Wars Trilogy or E.T. or Ghost in The Shell 2.0 version where it becomes a hideous mutilation.

Oh, yeah. It's a risky buy if you wanna spend over 100 bucks on a collection you already own. But, like I said, if this is the only way you can Aliens on Blu-ray, it's definitely worth it.

Getting this set for Christmas.

You got the anthology boxset BluRay already?
-
I agree. Getting the discs out may be the only problem I have with this set.
Aliens has NEVER looked better. Cameron did a fabulous job of remastering his masterpiece. That by itself is worth the price of this anthology.

I store all my DVD, BluRay and Music CDs in binders
then i put the empty cases on the shelves
how is the quality of the movie i know there not really true def like avatar but how is it.

@Prosaio True def? Not sure what that's supposed to mean. True HD maybe? Avatar is simply digital, Aliens (and its sequels) were shot on 35mm film which has a much higher resolution than Avatar's digital cameras. You can read the linked reviews, or just know the first two were mastered beautifully, and the second two, well, not so much.
