@minpinful Thanks for that! The FG200 was my first 'good' guitar and I got it back in '75. After about 25 years it was needing an overhaul so I had it refretted and a new compensated saddle fitted. The tone has always been superb but the action was a little high making it tricky to play. I've never played a 180 but a few years back I picked up an F310 for peanuts. Use it as my 'practice guitar, great action. I've tried a lot of other makes but I seem to come back to Yamaha. Hope you enjoy yours!

Nice,I flat pick a yahama as well. I have had a lot of guitars, most more expensive, but the tone on my old Y. is better. Your picking is nice as well. If you would like check out my page rcd709 Take care and keep a picking.

Wow your FG-200 sounds fantastic and great picking btw. Are you playing in an alternate tuning?

@mikevintagedotcom thanks - yes, the FG200 has great tone - I'm tuned to open G (DGDGBD) with capo at the 2nd fret - thanks <}:-)
