This object has been mistaken for Venus. The very bright sparkling object has caught the attention of thousands, and rightly so. It is spectacular!
It is not a star or planet. It is a UFO, and is much like the UFO's photo'd & video'd by many at low altitude. The photo inserts were taken minutes before the video of the same object. Enjoy !
This 'star sign' was announced by Share International a few weeks before it actually appeared, in the beginning of December 2008. Read their explanation here (replace the [dot]s in the link with actual dots and erase one blank space in the middle of the link and one at the end of the link):

Hello from Greece, this object is not Venus or jupiter. We are viewing this object here for more then five months now. It's low in the horizon and it's very bright yellowish and it hasn't moved since the first time we noticed it. It's amazing how some of the photos on this video are the same as some of the photos I have taken. Please if you like check out my video Weird Lights In Greek Sky and you will see what I'm saying. Clear Amazing pictures of light and beams. Cheers.

how is the object mistaken for Venus? Perhaps you're mistaken and it is Venus or Jupiter. The lack of knowledge compared to the increase of people filming the sky is resulting is some pretty retarded UFO conclusions lately.
