Slava & Leonard, Joseph and James -- one super group, two sets of siblings, four internationally acclaimed musicians...which ever way you look at it, this brotherly collaboration displays sibling revelry at its best.
Slava & Leonard are regarded as two of Australia's finest classical guitarists. Joseph Tawadros is a master of the oud, whilst 18 year old James has made a name for himself as a world-class percussionist specialising on the Req, an Egyptian tambourine.
Performances by Band of Brothers are marked by group artistry of the highest order with repertoire that crosses cultural and stylistic barriers....from world music, to jazz, classical and traditional.
James playing the Req looks bored out of his brains

@froodgoose That's a Godin Multiac Grand Concert. Made in Canada - Slava has used it for several years now. (Tommy Emmanuel also owns a few)

First song is call Freo, and is usually preceded by James Tawadros doing a massive (and awesome) solo on his req
Second Song is called Sahara
Third is obviously a mind blowing rendition of the famous BlackBird
Fourth is called Lucca
All of these songs are on their joint album, Band Of Brothers. Which has a very cool folding layout in my opinion.
