  • I was there early 1976. (Rine Section) Hard work but good in its own way. (Went on to 206 Coy at C.E.P. Long Marston) Simpson Barracks was a bit grim. Can anyone remember James Darkin and what happened to him?

  • It is sad i did my basic training there in 1979 i had some good time there and met a good bunch of lads some of the best it was a honour to have served with them

  • how sad this is no longer with us i did my basic there in 1981 and loved the place.
