With extreme weather and a Total Fire Ban in place across the state of Victoria, CFA brigades reacted swiftly when a bushfire started at the foot of Arthurs Seat on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. The potentially deadly fire was brought under control quickly and the fire contained within three hectares. Crews remained on scene for several hours blacking out Filmed and edited by Martin Anderson, CFA Public Affairs.

I remember the big fire we had up there Ben bought up that went thru seawinds, as always CFA and the Rangers of the park all got in and stopped it before it got in too populated area. Well done guys. Im actually living up thorpdale now, we were surrounded by the bunyip/churchill fires not long ago, lol, part of aussie life, but you fireys make it possible :)

I was on mornington tanker good fast turn out well managed could of gone nuts and destroyed hundreds of homes good work. Great fast response.
