To clear up questions from Pt. 1 I have continued on with chapter 1. However I do not intend to go thru the entire book but want to shed light on what process is involved in psychologically manipulating cult members SCIENTOLOGY in PARTICULAR.

The writter was one of the foremost experts on Cults however NOT all of her words where chosen to be spoken next to each other. Between editing and my lack of speaking ability I hope you can see the points I try to get across.

  • Scientology is a totalitarian political movement disguised as a criminal racket disguised as a cult parading as a religion hiding behind 166+ front groups.

  • so when Eckhart Tolle tells the his devotees that their "thoughts" need to be "Eckhart" thoughts which will bring "vibrations" and the result of these few "thoughts" and "correct" ideas (which are ONLY from his mind) then it will result in a telletubbie new earth...they also believe in "Plajarens" and that earth will have "evolved" past ALL religions and churches..the ONLY "religion" resulting in HIS!: being in this new earth (he INSISTS you NOT call this a RELIGION!!! and his group yells this!)

  • Maybe some not all... watch chapter 3. Thought Reform was used by governments in Russia's perge trials and by Moa Tse-Tung in China. Thought Reform works well in authoritarian groups.

  • Know why people are protesting Scientology...

  • Well as I mention the video defines Singers Definition and does not have to do with religious status.

She is talking about groups (if they claim to be religions or not) that use some form of Mind control, segested guidence, thought reform etc.

  • Didn't you read MrFyde's reply?

First you say "Didnt all reigions begin as cults?", and when MrFryde gives you an answer that you don't like , you say that YOU "think that all religions have to be cults before they transform into a religion.". Opinion noted. Doesn't change a thing. Co$ is a CULT by official definition, and it will never become a religion. Pool's closed.

  • Every major religion(even buddhism)gained popularity because they were endorsed by a state.

  • Good question. I don't know the history of all religions. However the defin. of CULT I am using is as defined. Cults focus on the leader or the group. Religions focus on something else ex: God or an abstract principal.

There is a defin. of the word CULT that is a subdivision of a religion like a SECT.

The focus in this defin. of CULT is on the relationships, processes and interactions of the group.

  • really liking where this going & loving yer new found style!

  • Very interesting video MrFyde. Thanks.
